Karl Heilmayer (also Heilmayr, born March 5, 1829 in Munich †, May 18, 1908, Idem) was a German landscape painter. Heilmayer's Life was born the son of the royal actor and landscape painter Emil Heilmayr. November 6, 1843. Enters the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich, but leaves prematurely and continues his studies as a self-taught student. Heilmayer remained active in Munich and mainly painted landscapes of fog and moon. In search of picturesque regions, he made study trips, especially in Upper Bavaria, Italy and South Tyrol. He also visited Belgium, France and northern Germany. Heilmayer exhibits his works at exhibitions in Munich, Berlin, Dresden and Vienna.
