Ernst Hugo Lorenz-Murowana (born 27 October 1872 in Murowana Go\u015blina, died 1950 in Berlin or on R\u00fcgen [1]) - German painter.<\/p>\n
He came from a large family with deep artistic traditions, in which nicknames were given to themselves by their place of birth. He left the Pozna\u0144 Province and went to Berlin, where he studied painting and graphics. After completing his studies, he remained there permanently, apart from painting, he was also an art conservator.<\/p>\n
A large part of his work is oil painting, the subjects of the paintings were interiors and still lifes, but the most common motive presented was the seascapes of Pomerania and the Baltic Sea, as well as the idyllic landscapes of Brandenburg. Much less often he immortalized the veduta and the urban landscape of Berlin and Potsdam, where rivers or water reservoirs are visible in the foreground, often they were nocturnes.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
