Classicist chest of drawers from the beginning of the 19th century around 1800
with straight sides, cut front corners and a straight front, with a marble top, four drawers, veneered, inlaid, decorated with brass fittings, supported by four S-shaped legs. The front and sides are decorated with geometric fields framed by a line, with meanders in the corners, filled with a diamond-shaped puzzle. rococo handles certainly someone replaced them completely incompatible with the furniture.
Veneer: Mahogany, walnut, olive plum, sycamore and many more.
Castles from the beginning of the 19th century.
Good condition, but for conservative maintenance, minor defects of the veneer on the edges of the table top, to remove old polish and to apply a new one and of course to replace the handles. Healthy design.
Origin Central Europe probably Italy.
