Antonie Frederik Zürcher (born January 2, 1825 - April 15, 1876) was a Dutch painter, draftsman, sculptor and art teacher.
Zürcher was born in Nieuwer-Amstel as the eldest son of Johannes Cornelis Zurcher into an artist family. [1] After formal training in Amsterdam, he became a drawing teacher at the local academy. He married in Amsterdam in 1850, and the couple had 14 children, including the painter Johannes Wilhelm Cornelis Zurcher. After the school was closed, he was transferred to a post in Maastricht, where he later died. [1] His younger brother Frederik Willem Zürcher was also a painter [1].
