Monumental boulle buffet in the second half of the 19th century

A piece of furniture with straight sides and front and cut front corners, closed with a double leaf, supported on console legs. The whole is veneered, black stained, polished on the so-called French mat, decorated with an inlay of brass thread creating floral patterns, filled with tortoiseshell, additionally very richly decorated with gilded bronzes. On the door leaves, oval medallions are framed by a profiled gilt bronze strip, framed by triangular fields in the corners. The upper cornice and plinth are framed by a profiled strip. The front corners are decorated with rosettes at the top and at the bottom, and also with caryatids in the upper part. Two shelves inside;
