Pierre de Clausade was born in Paris on April 15, 1910. Pierre de Clausade started painting for exhibitions only at the age of 31. This is due to his willingness to develop a completely individual technique that required endless experimentation over many years. In 1943, the artist organized his first exhibition in Paris. It was a huge success and similar results were obtained from subsequent exhibitions that he organized in the following years. Pierre de Clausade's fame spread rapidly throughout Europe and soon reached America. In the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, he also undertook commercial work, including lithography of Esso oils and "Gala des Bataillons du ciel"

London, New York, Montreal, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Lisbon, Alexandrie, LeCaire, Beyrouth and Vienne. Clausade was a member of Salon d'Hiver and also frequently exhibited at the Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts. Examples of Clausade's work can be found in museums in Boston and Minneapolis.
