He studied at the NI Muraszki Drawing School in Kiev. In 1921, he moved to Warsaw, where he opened a studio which burned down during the Warsaw Uprising, and with it many of his works. He has presented his works many times at exhibitions at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. He returned to Poland in 1946 and settled near Warsaw, first in Komorów, then in Milanówek. His work was influenced by the paintings of Chełmoński and Rapacki. The artist mainly created Masovian landscapes - sunsets, meadows, misty backwaters, villages or winter landscapes with the motif of a forest road and a stream winding among the snow.
