Classicist chest of drawers from the 18th century around 1780/1800
with straight sides and front and cut corners, three drawers, supported on four angular, converging legs. the whole is veneered, richly inlaid, varnished, decorated with brass fittings. The front ones are concentrated with undercut sideburns. Steel locks, 18th century plates made of brass, embossed.
A typical piece of furniture from the Classicism period, in a simple and popular version in terms of form and decoration made of patterned veneer. It is not damaged by maintenance and repairs, but with preserved patina.
Very good condition, slight loss of veneer above the drawer, visible locks do not work but require maintenance because they jam. The white spots visible in the photo were removed, they were just dirt.

Origin Western Europe, on the back of the chest of drawers there is an original sticker, probably from the studio where the furniture was made.
